We are delighted to announce that Sharon Hughes has accepted our offer of a full time member of Chambers.

Sharon was called to the Bar in 2013 where she completed her pupillage at the Bar of Ireland and went on to develop a mixed civil practice, primarily in personal injury litigation and property disputes.

Sharon is regularly instructed in Civil (with a particular interest in Credit Hire disputes), Commercial, Criminal and Immigration matters.

The recent appeal judgment in Irving v Morgan Sindall PLC [2018] EWHC 1147 (QB) by Mr Justice Turner is greatly appreciated for bringing much needed clarity over two issues credit hire practitioners regularly battle with:

Accuracy of Pleadings: Parties should be careful to accurately state the circumstances of the accident in the Particulars of Claim or Defence. Witness Statements should be cross checked with the Pleadings once they have been finalised.
