Harry was called to the Bar in 2003 and specialises in consumer credit, personal injury and credit hire cases, establishing a respected reputation as an effective and dedicated advocate with an excellent record of success.

Harry will readily travel off circuit where required to do so and conducts cases across the country.

Commercial Law

Over the last few years Harry has focused on establishing a commercial and chancery practice undertaking a wide range of civil cases, particularly in consumer credit and debt recovery matters. Experienced in Personal Injury and Road Traffic cases, he offers a wealth of knowledge and a determined approach to achieve the best possible result for his clients at all times.

Providing a professional service to clients and instructing solicitors, Harry is known for his straight forward and robust presentation in court. Always well prepared, he provides a meticulous service and returns outstanding results. Regularly instructed by both commercial clients and private individuals, Harry travels country wide, dealing with all matters from summary judgement applications and applications to set judgement aside, through to contested trials and appeals.

Crime

Having gained experience in all areas of criminal law including murder, rape, robbery, fraud and drug cases as both a barrister and formerly a solicitor, Harry still accepts privately funded criminal cases in both the Crown and Magistrates’ Courts, from road traffic cases to complex fraud and drug importation matters.

Recent Cases

R v B – Leading case in which Counsel  successfully appealed against conviction of wilful patient neglect.

R v J – Instructed to represent a defendant in Operation Sorrento a major drugs operation in Milton Keynes.

R v G – Instructed  in a multi million pound car ringing case resulting from Operation Washer in Cardiff.

R v P – Instructed to represent the defendant in a £5.9 million drug importation case.

R v C – Secured a not guilty verdict in a drugs supply case involving large quantities of class A drugs.

R v S – Represented the Defendant facing allegations of serious sexual abuse of a child.

R v H – Instructed to represent the defendant to present a technical defence to allegations of possession of indecent images of a child.

R v C – Represented the defendant facing allegations of theft of more than £30,000.

R v K – Represented the defendant in a serious, multi handed s.18 Assault.
